Worthing town centre’s newest businesses – how many of these have you visited?

Worthing is constantly changing, with new stores, bars and restaurants popping up in the town centre all the time.

Although empty shopfronts can look off-putting, only six per cent of Worthing town centre’s stores are vacant – four per cent lower than the national average. Since June 2018, 61 new businesses have opened here, from independent traders to larger chains looking to invest in the town. The struggles of high street traders has been well documented as they combat online shopping and out of town shopping centres, but Worthing shows there is still life in our town centres. Here is a selection of some of our newest additions from the last 18 months.
