The 100-year-old sadly died with coronavirus on Tuesday (February 3).

His family said due to other medication he was receiving for pneumonia, he was unable to receive the Covid-19 vaccine.

Capt Sir Tom initially set out to raise £1,000 for the NHS, but ended up raising an incredible £32,794,701.

He was knighted by the Queen in July.
