A six-year-old Shoreham girl who loves gymnastics has set herself a cartwheel challenge with the aim of raising £850 for Shoreham Foodbank.

Freya Hall started her 10-day challenge on Friday, May 1, and aims to do 1,000 cartwheels by Sunday, May 10.

A pupil at Swiss Gardens Primary School in Shoreham, Freya has already raised £820.

Freya said: “I want to do 1,000 cartwheels in 10 days because I’m really good at cartwheels. I think it’s a good challenge and I want to raise money to help the Shoreham Foodbank.”

Parents Nick and Georgia Hall said she loves gymnastics and was about to start a proper class, just before the lockdown started.
