The nine-month-old female crossbreed therefore craves company and would need to be given the run of the house by new owners.

Rehoming centre manager Tracey Rae said: "She is a fun girl and cannot wait to find her new home.

"Molly is looking for a quiet adult home as she can be shy of new people. After a few meetings, she will be your best friend.

"She would like her own garden, so she has a secure area to stretch her legs and build up her recall.

"She loves to play with toys and will stick her head in the toy box and have a good snuffle around to find just the right one to play with."

Molly cannot live with cats but would benefit from a doggy friend to help build confidence in new situations.
