Steyning Museum celebrates best Christmas raffle yet

Steyning Museum volunteers are grateful to its ‘fantastically generous’ supporters for helping to raise hundreds of pounds through the Christmas raffle.

In fact, this year had the best result yet, raising £631 for museum funds.

Ray Powell said: “Everyone has been very generous in these hard times. It was a fantastically generous result, our best ever.”

The raffle was organised by Maggie Hollands and her team of volunteers, with all prizes generously donated by friends and supporters of the museum. Winners were drawn on Saturday, December 19.

The museum is usually open 10am to 4pm, Wednesday to Saturday, and the plan is for it to open again as soon as the Covid restrictions are lifted.
