Rail services in Sussex cancelled or delayed after person hit by a train

Railway services are disrupted in Sussex this morning after a person was sadly hit by a train between Three Bridges and East Croydon.

Southern Rail said services running between Brighton/Horsham and East Croydon will be delayed or cancelled.

Trains will not be stopping at Gatwick Airport, but will stop instead at Horley in the northbound direction towards London, and Three Bridges in the direction of Brighton.

Anyone travelling from Gatwick Airport will need to take Metrobus 400 to Three Bridges, or Metrobus 100 to Horley, and change there for onward train services.

The disruption is expected until 10am.
