Man found dead in centre of Brighton

Police closed Queens Road near the Clock Tower shortly before 7am.

Brighton and Hove Police said: “This morning a man was sadly found deceased in Queens Road, Brighton.

“The death is being treated as unexplained but is not thought to be suspicious.”

Police said road closures in the area would be lifted.

Officers also thanked the public for their ‘patience and understanding’.

“Our thoughts are with his loved ones,” police added.
