Adam Reeves, quality manager, said: “This is a great start, and we are proud of that. We know that as we get further into the year, the challenge will become harder. So, every month we are offering incentives to keep the team motivated.

“We need to run, walk or crawl around the world, which is the equivalent of 40,075km, and do one million press-ups by the end of 2021.”

The team hopes to raise £5,000 total, to be divided equally between the two chosen charities. Special requests will be considered for an extra donation.

Adam explained: “We are keeping everyone updated with our progress and are happy to take on a challenge. So, if any of our customers or suppliers want us to run in fancy dress, we’d be more than happy to accommodate.”
