More than 80 people gathered outside the grounds of the church, in Roman Crescent, on Sunday for a service that featured Easter hymns, magic tricks and a drama. At the end, white doves were released to signify peace and send a message of love over Southwick. The birds, from Lambert’s White Dove Release in Hove, went up and circled around the church and the community before flying home.
