Brighton beach on the first weekend of slightly-eased restrictions: in pictures

Groups of people took advantage of the easing of lockdown restrictions as they visited Brighton beach to have picnics, drink beers and walk along the seafront.

Police were seen patrolling the beaches reminding people to stick to social distancing guidelines and to only socialise with one person from outside their household. Here is what Brighton beach looked like this afternoon.
