An overturned ice-cream van is causing delays on the roads today (Sunday, July 26).

Two out of three lanes on the A23 at Handcross are blocked because of the tipped-over truck.

The incident has been causing delays on the B2100 southbound route since around 10am this morning.

Motorists are being asked to avoid the area if possible.

The driver is believed to have been unhurt in the crash but police are “sad to report that the ice cream is all melting.”
