Staff at Dogs Trust in Shoreham are looking for a new home for Bess, a seven-year-old female border collie.
A spokeswoman for Dogs Trust said: “She is looking for a quiet home with understanding owners who will give her plenty of time to settle in.
“Her favourite activity is fetch, playing with two tennis balls – there is always one for her and a spare for you to throw!
“She also loves to settle down for a tasty chew.
“Due to her shyness, Bess is looking for an adult-only home with a secure garden she can relax in.
“She isn’t comfortable around other dogs and is such a good girl, always choosing to avoid them, so she would prefer to be the only dog in her home.”
Anyone who would like to know more about Bess, and opportunities for rehoming other dogs currently housed at Dogs Trust’s rehoming centre in Brighton Road, Shoreham, should call 01273 466970 for a chat and to arrange an introduction.
