It was a great success. The food was delicious and the room looked great with a red, white and blue theme.

On arrival there was a small orchestra playing and a glass of Prosecco.

Sitting down to the meal were 80 people, 30 of whom were Sean’s relations many who travelled from the US.

His wife Eleanor helped Carol Molineaux sell raffle tickets which raised £500 to be given to the Mayor’s charities Mind, Samaratans and St Barnabas.

Prizes were donated by shops and businesses.

A great evening was had by all.
