Why can't we all recycle like Goring man?

Had to write in. Really impressed. Guy in a big car transporter, fully loaded with six cars, driving along Goring seafront.

He stops around 25 yards from a waste bin, gets out carrying a can, walks to bin, drops in can, walks back to transporter, drives on.

Now, can anybody explain why so many visitors – and unfortunately locals – would rather throw anything from cups to full doggie bags to used nappies all over the green than use those bins?

Obviously used to living in squalor?
