Who's driving the Brexit bus?

The referendum was a two-bus race.

The Big Red Bus, promising much, crept over the halfway line, stopped, and the driver left.

The Blue Bus, full of confidence, stopped just short of halfway and the driver decided this was the time to retire.

After much huffing and puffing, a new Remain driver was elected and with three of the loudest Red Bus passengers reluctantly stuttered off down the Brexit road – without any maps.

The onlookers were equally stunned by this situation as they began to realise that nobody knows what to expect or what Brexit looks like and how much it would cost.
