Time we had a proper bypass

Nothing new but to say the traffic was backed up solidly east from Lyons Farm lights all the way back to Boundstone Lane on Friday.

Not much better on other days. What must visitors to the area think about the town. Returning later this afternoon the coast road through Shoreham and Western Road Lancing was gridlocked.

The town needs a proper by-pass! The North of England seems to get all the funding nowadays.

I recall seeing a sign at Folkestone, (1966 when I was a baby but able to read), announcing the Folkestone to Honiton Expressway.

What happened?

I note that the authorities are able to spend money in East Worthing erecting stainless steel posts with parking restriction notices and white lining everywhere, so that we now look like Central London.
