Such a shame to see the last Littlehampton Carnival

We were so sorry to read that this year's carnival procession in Littlehampton may be the last.

We watched it on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed all the floats, walkers, bands etc.

So many people had put such a lot of effort into their costumes, it would be a shame not to continue.

So we hope someone or a group of people will step into the breach and carry on Freda’s excellent work.

Thank you so much, Freda, for all those 42 years of organising.

Miranda Laviers (aged 10)

We were especially delighted to see so many of our Indian friends in the procession.
