Spare a thought for wildlife in bonfire material

The death and injury toll of hedgehogs, frogs and toads will be huge over the next week and a half because they nest in piles of bonfire material.

Please can I remind everyone to try to move bonfire material from one place to another for burning or, failing that, to feel by hand and look under the pile.

Shining a torch in will help.
