So, when the 'coneing' gets tough, the tough get 'coneing'

C.ONEHEAD replies: Major Roadworks-Ahead fails to appreciate that, in this modern environment, we no longer have "conescription", where thousands, if not millions, of cone clones were churned out, only to be brainwashed into believing that standing in straight lines for tens of miles was the only useful purpose a cone could serve.

Thank goodness we have now moved on from those bad old days, reminiscent of "Conean" the Barbarian, when free thinking was not tolerated.

In these more enlightened times, we youngsters are involved in so much more than just traffic duty.

We have active representatives in the "Coneservative" party, ensuring stationary, non-progressive policies are adopted.

Surely Major Roadworks-Ahead can see we youngsters are still carrying on the tradition of chaos and "conefusion", which he and his colleagues required thousands of members to achieve, on the major routes of Great Britain.

Let's not "conefuse" progress with moving forwards. Join the youngsters and be part of the new movement.

Remember "Conefucius" say: "Ever backwards and downwards."
