Parking chaos? What parking chaos, I ask

I have to say that I have not seen the kind of parking chaos that he claims to exist in this town.

In my opinion, his claims are false and motivated by a desire to squeeze even more revenue from the motoring public.

Adur District Council has already demanded high taxes from us, and now these happy warriors of "squandermania" seek to take even more.

This will no doubt be aided by the unelected and self-appointed cabinet that has been put in place, which, bypassing local democracy, will do nothing to benefit this town or its residents.

I would remind everyone of the misery caused to residents and the loss of trade to shopkeepers in Worthing as a result of increased parking restrictions and the insufferable conduct of the NCP parking attendants, whose attitude seems to be ticket everyone and let them fight it if they can afford the time and loss of earnings.

Councillor Parkin cannot be permitted, along with his allies, to damage this town with these perfidious attempts to get their hands on any more of our money.
