Only 39% voted to leave the EU

Figures before the referendum, have been forgotten.

It should be remembered that the votes gave a small majority to the Brexiteers and indicated a split in the UK.

A second look shows that only 39 per cent of the electorate voted to leave – not as clear as claimed.

Now we have a suggestion that we change the label on EU law and call it UK law.

Surely that’s no different to changing the label on a can of beans. I suppose it does clear up what Brexit means.

The danger, as I see it, is that once the Clause 50 button is pressed, we will be in a one-way street to ‘out’, whether conditions – if any – are granted us by the EU.
