Hoop, hoop, hooray
IT was an historical moment last week – not just the Queen visiting Eire – but, for some, more important than that: for the first time in 80 years, Littlehampton played West Worthing at croquet at the Titnore Way club.
Littlehampton sent a very strong team to the newly established West Worthing team and won by 40 hoops to 25.
The match was played in the very best of spirits and a good time was had by all, and the cucumber sandwiches were just as delicious as they used to be!
