Action plan at last for Shoreham's former Cement Works site

I see that exciting plans are being suggested for the development of the old Shoreham Cement Works eyesore.

If they are to come to anything, access and transport links will be vital.

Although it is all in the National Park there is some dispensation from the usual planning restrictions to enable development to take place. This bodes well for a possible solution to the Worthing by-pass issue as the Steyning, Wiston, Washington, Long Furlong route would kill two birds with one stone.

Could the local A27 Action Group bring some pressure to bear?
