A27 is in desperate need for a bypass

Interesting to read about a recent meeting in Findon and I do wonder how many at the meeting actually use the A27 on a regular basis.

Speaking as someone who has driven along the A27 for more than 40 years and suffered many hold-ups I offer the following observations.

The A27 is getting worse and improvements – ie a bypass – cannot come soon enough as it must be affecting the economy of the region.

Many regular drivers including myself try to avoid the busy areas such as Worthing, Arundel and Chichester by driving along narrow roads and through villages and I am sure given a better A27, many drivers will return to the A27 and leave the countryside in peace.

We cannot wait more years for a bypass!
