What a fantastic and fun weekend!

I DON’T know about you but I had a great weekend.

Saturday it was raining which mum and dad weren’t very happy about, but I loved because I got to put my wellies on and splash in the puddles.

I was glad the sun came out on Sunday though because we had a great day out with my friend Barry the Badger.

Mum and dad took us up to a place called West Dean for something called Grow! Cook! Eat!

There were lots of fun things to do. We went on the bouncy castle, tried to hoopla (but my little sister was better at it than me) and played Splat the Rat.

I really liked watching the band playing vegetable instruments – I never knew you could play carrots!

They even played a song from one of my favourite films – the Jungle Book.

Dad tried bobbing for apples but he just got really wet! Barry was much better at it even though he said he doesn’t like apples.

We got some new plants for the garden and mum said if it stops raining next weekend we can plant them together.

I like gardening because you get to dig in the mud and nobody tells you off!

But my favourite part of Sunday was all the tasty treats.

We had a picnic on the grass and I found it really hard to choose my treat because there was so many yummy things. Mum bought us a pizza roll to have in our packed lunch on Monday and it was delicious.

What did you get up to this weekend?

I love hearing about what you are up to so send me letters and your drawings or photographs and you could be on this page with me!

Chip, chip for now,
