Summer may be over but I’m still very happy...

IT IS that time of year again. The parks are all getting a little muddier, the weather a little chillier and the leaves on the trees are changing colour, going all brown and crinkly.

That’s right Chipsters, summer is over, but I couldn’t be happier – especially as it has been half-term this week!

I love it when the seasons change and autumn is my favourite, hands down! Walks become a lot more fun.

My mum and I walked on the Downs and it was awesome! I’d been on the Downs a few times before in the summer, but this was totally different and I really enjoyed playing around with all the wrinkly, crinkly leaves. When my mum wasn’t looking, I made a really big pile of them and jumped on it, scattering the mound all over the place!

We then looked for some conkers. I don’t know about you, but I love them, especially the really shiny ones!

I was over the moon when I found a couple of really big conkers and mum said they were so nice and big that we should put some string through them to keep.

My conkers looked so fine and grand, all hanging down on their strings, that I tied them to my coat buttons and pretended I was a brave, conquering sea captain.

It was great fun. But what about you, Chipsters?

Do you guys love autumn as much as I do?

Chip, chip for now.
