ST BARNABAS: Support St Barnabas with a great outdoors challenge
Spring is definitely in the air.
As I sit and write my column this week, my office window is open and I can feel the warmth of the sun and hear the birds singing outside – it makes me want to get outside!
And speaking of which we’ve got plenty of opportunities to tempt you in to the great outdoors.
Our events team are always working hard to make sure that we have a challenge for everyone, and the schedule for this year looks fantastic.
We’ve got cycling, trekking, running and skydiving planned, in the UK, Europe and worldwide.
If cycling is your thing why not join our Costa Rica Coast to Coast cycle?
Or if you’re more of walker, and would like something a bit closer to home, why not sign up to Night to Remember, our ladies only midnight walk in June, or the 21-mile South Downs Trek in October?
We’re also thrilled to be one of the official charity partners for the Worthing 10k on Sunday, June 5; you could join 2,000 other runners and challenge yourself while raising vital funds for St Barnabas at the same time.
Or if you’re an out and out thrill seeker, we’re looking for people to skydive for us.
You would be jumping with a qualified instructor who will do all the work for you, so you can enjoy an adrenaline rush like no other, flying 10,000 feet through the clouds at 120 miles per hour.
Whatever your passion, we have a way for you to get involved and support your local hospice.
