ST BARNABAS: Remember your loved ones with Light Up a Life appeal

Each year at Christmas time, our St Barnabas House Light Up a Life appeal provides the local community with the opportunity to come together to remember and reflect on the wonderful moments we have spent with our loved ones.

As part of the Light Up a Life appeal, you can send us a dedication in memory of your loved one and, if you wish, make a donation in support of the hospice.

Every dedication we receive, for each family member or friend, will be included in a commemorative programme that is the Order of Service at our Light Up a Life services in December.

This year’s Light up a Life services are on Monday, December 14, at 4.30pm and 7pm, and you are warmly invited to join us, together with your friends and family, at Worthing Assembly Hall.

Everyone who joins us at one of the services will receive a special Light Up a Life candle to be lit at home in memory of a loved one.

We also invite everyone attending to bring along a photo of their loved one, which can then be pinned to our ‘Memory Wall’ displayed in the refreshments area of the Assembly Hall after each service.

This collection of images and faces is a stirring and positive addition to what is already a poignant occasion.

I look forward to seeing many of you at one of this year’s services.

Places are limited so do please let us know if you would like to join us.

If you cannot attend, it is possible to make your dedication and pick up your candle from any of our St Barnabas House charity shops in the local area.

If you would like to take part in this year’s Light Up a Life celebrations, you can call 01903 706329 or email: [email protected]
