Shop manager Michelle and assistant Jan, together with their team of volunteers, decorated the shop and served tea and cakes.

There was entertainment provided local singer Sophie, Michelle’s daughter, and a raffle which raised more than £100. It was a fantastic afternoon and thank you to everyone who came along to support the event.

Further events are being planned in our shops over the coming weeks to support The Big Get Together, so keep a look out for some of the wonderful window displays.

Our Ferring shop will celebrate its 20th birthday later this month.

We are holding a party next Thursday (September 29) from 10am to midday at the shop in Ferring Street, and everyone is invited to come along.

We are delighted to have chairman of Arun District Council, councillor Stephen Haymes, mayor of Worthing Sean McDonald and Worthing town crier Bob Smytherman amongst the guests attending the event.
