My nativity will be so much fun!

I AM getting really nervous and excited because next week I am going to be in my school nativity!

We have been practising our songs for weeks to make them perfect.

I am playing an angel and mum has made me a great costume.

I’ll be singing Little Donkey, Silent Night and O Little Town of Bethlehem in the chorus.

My friend, Billy the Badger, is playing Joseph and Felicity the Fox will be Mary.

Our music teacher has chosen a traditional nativity but I know lots of other schools are doing different plays about Christmas as well. What play is your school doing for Christmas?

Have you got a favourite Christmas carol or song?

I think my favourite is Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer because it is so cheerful and we can all sing it together. We are all even more excited because our music teacher said the Herald & Gazette photographer is coming to take pictures of our play. The photographs are going to be in the paper alongside all the other children at Christmas time.

All my friends are really excited about seeing their picture in the paper.

My friends at the Herald & Gazette have said there is going to be a special section nearer to the big day. I, for one, can’t wait!

If you are performing in a play this Christmas why not write to me and tell me all about it?

Even better, draw me a Christmas picture.

Chip, chip for now!
