Mrs Bourne finds out why Suzanne Stevens and Tomasz Domanski decided to become Special Constables, how they have found the training and what it means to them to be able to help keep their local communities safe.

Attestation is a process by which a newly appointed recruit to Sussex Police becomes a Special Constable with all the powers and responsibilities which that entails. The ceremony involves officers making a declaration in the presence of a Magistrate, before receiving their warrant cards.
