HEALTH AND CARE: Still time to have your say on future of NHS services

The Herald & Gazette have joined forces with GP practices in the area which form part of the NHS Coastal West Sussex Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). This week, they are urging people to take part in their survey about local NHS services.

are absolutely delighted that 2,000 people have so far completed our survey on primary and urgent care.

The CCG has had an overwhelming response from people across Coastal West Sussex, with hundreds filling out the survey online, sending in a hard copy or speaking to one of our telephone interviewers.

We want to thank everyone who has taken part so far, taking the time to share your thoughts about the future of local NHS services in our area.

And if you haven’t had your say yet there is still plenty of time.

The survey is open until the end of November – you can either fill it out online from our website www.coastalwestsussexccg.nhs.uk or there are hard copies in GP practices, libraries and in local community centres.

We want this survey to be a real opportunity for the CCG to really hear from people from across our area, and for your views to help to shape our plans.

All of the feedback we receive will help to us improve the services you receive at your GP practice, and how you get NHS help urgently when you really need it.

We know these services need to change over the next five to ten years and we want your views to help to make them the best they can be for our local community.

We have already heard from 1,000 people over the phone, more than 450 online and 500 through a hard copy in the post – and we would like even more.

The CCG covers a population of 482,100 people and so if we can even reach a fraction of that we know that a wide range of views are being represented.
