Come dine at mine

You may have seen a TV programme Come Dine at Mine on a similar theme, but our version has a rather more important purpose.

A small group of patrons and key supporters came to Chestnut Tree House for a very special lunch last week.

Our guests were treated to a delicious three-course lunch to thank them for their continued support.

This is the second year we have arranged this event and it was lovely to meet up with these valued people who have supported us to update them on all that has happened this year and our plans for the future.

For every child in Sussex we are helping, there is at least one more that we have yet to reach, so we hope that by enjoying a delicious lunch at the house, our guests might have been inspired to introduce new supporters to our charity.

The food was generously donated, and the cooking was by me with little help from the catering team!

Holding your own version of Come Dine at Mine would be a nice way to raise funds for Chestnut Tree House. Grab a group of friends and host a nice meal while telling them about the work Chestnut Tree House does across Sussex.
