Residents have been raising money for Chestnut Tree House hospice by opening their gardens to members of the public.

A team of neighbours in Ferring, known as the Norland group, have raised around £5,300 for charity with their recent open gardens event. The sun shone all afternoon on Sunday as the roads and gardens were packed with visitors who enjoyed, as well as the gardens, many stalls, a garden railway, musicians and singers. There was also a caravan, tombolas and a grand raffle.
