St Barnabas House need men to marshal its all-female Night to Remember Midnight Walk, which will see hundreds of women walk seven, 13.1 (half marathon distance) and 20 mile routes across the South Coast.

The event is set to take place on Saturday, June 21, in Worthing.

Lucy Bone, event organiser, said: “The Night to Remember Midnight Walk is now in its seventh year and the help our volunteers give is vital to ensure the on-going success of the event. We are appealing to dads, brothers, uncles, sons, granddads, nephews, friends and all responsible men who can spare a few hours or even the whole night to come forward and volunteer their time.

“Hopefully, the men of Sussex will realise the importance of this fundraising event and ensure we have no damsels in distress, with their help we can make this a hugely successful night.”

Men aged 18 years and over are eligible to get involved.

Those interested in volunteering should contact fundraising volunteer officer Angela Bacon on 01903 706326 or email [email protected]. Women can also volunteer, or to sign up for the walk, visit www.nighttoremember.org.uk
