Established by the Women’s Institute back in 1976, the market sells homebaked or homemade goods, handmade crafts, homegrown plants and more – all made and grown by local people for local people.

Frances Burt, market manager, said: “It’s a wonderful achievement that the market is celebrating its ruby anniversary this month and a real testament to the quality of items baked, made and grown which keep customers returning week after week.”
