Match funding for small firms encouraged

Worthing-based Lisa Farr, of Inspired Marketing, is a registered adviser for the Growth Vouchers scheme, which grants subsidies of up to £2,000 to spend on expert advice.

The match-funded initiative is open to businesses with less than 50 employees and self-employed individuals.

Mrs Farr said: “As an entrepreneur based in Sussex, I’m delighted to see Government investment specifically targeted at the small business sector.

“I’m a registered adviser and applying myself as it is a fantastic opportunity to gain expert, professional guidance for my business for only 50 per cent of the usual investment.
