As an island of sports fans who makes the podium / lifts the trophy / crosses the finish line first?

2 Jess Ennis storming to victory in the 800 metres to win Gold for GB at London 2012 Olympic Games (18.1%)

While we may be turning into a nation of on-demand viewers, one in five say that sport is the one thing they have to watch live, whilst almost one in ten will be avoiding all social media this year around key sporting events - presumably to make sure they don’t find out the results if they can’t get to a TV or tablet in time.

Iwan Thomas won’t be in danger of that – he plans on taking home the gold for spectating this year, but before we ready ourselves for more incredible sporting memories, here he is to give us a fast and furious run down of some of our most loved of all time.
