Research carried out by Argos revealed that almost 90% of children’s toy boxes across the country contain toys influenced by their favourite TV shows and films, with a further 74% wishing for at least one underneath the Christmas tree this year.

From the 13 toys that feature on the Top Toy 2015 list, British parents revealed that many of the toys are similar to what they had played with when they were younger, such as Tracy Island, making them even more special this year.

Almost half (48%) of parents said they were more likely to play and bond with their child if they had a toy they recognised from their childhood. And a further one in ten parents even admitted to wanting the toys to play with themselves!
