More than 50 health professionals have joined forces to help educate and entertain people into adopting a healthier lifestyle.

Alongside displays from a local line dancing group, karate group and the Dinky Dance troupe will be stands from many of the major charities, including Marie Curie, Cancer Care and the Alzheimer’s’ Society, nutritionists, dermatologists and podiatrists and many other alternative therapies.

A free health check will be available from NHS qualified nurses (call 01243 624023), meet members of local activity clubs and chat with some incredibly brave cancer survivors.

There will also be lots to entertain the children. Meet Gully, the Brighton and Hove Albion mascot, get your face painted by the brilliant Siobhan Collett and enjoy the centre’s delicious tea and cakes.

Northbourne Medical Centre is based in Upper Shoreham Road, Shoreham.
