At 9.30am, firefighters were called to St Joseph's nursing home and convent in East Street, Littlehampton, where a solar panel fire on the roof led to black plumes of smoke rising into the sky. Click here to read more. By 11am, the fire was extinguished, and all residents inside had been accounted for. Paramedics were assessing them to make sure no-one needed hospital treatment.
