The Ropetackle Arts Centre now has a defibrillator thanks to Adur East Lions.
Immediate past president Jim Pummell persuaded the club to fund defibrillators in both The Shoreham Centre and Mayberry Garden Centre and current president Rose Carter has now continued this initiative with the donation of the latest machine.
Martin Allen, chairman of the Ropetackle Trust, said: “We are extremely grateful to Adur East Lions Club for the donation of a defibrillator.
“As approximately 30,000 people visit the centre each year it is essential that we are fully prepared for any medical emergencies.”
