When the lifeboat reached the 28ft vessel with two people on board, the yacht was found to have a rope around its prop.

The crew set up a tow line and brought the yacht back into the harbour and then transferred the tow to the inshore lifeboat, which took her up the canal to Emerald Quay, where it was moored.
