A-LEVELS: Sir Robert Woodard Academy results delight

Glowing mum Suzanne Pike, a science teacher at the Lancing-based secondary school, was delighted to hear of her son, Tom Nulty’s results.

The 17-year-old, of Brook Way, Lancing, clinched two As in maths and further maths and two Bs in chemistry and physics.

The delighted teenager said: “I feel like they are very solid results to build on next year. It’s as expected but definitely a relief.”

Sir Robert Woodard had an impressive set of results in its A-Levels, revealed today (August 13), with a 100 per cent pass rate in all subjects, with half of these at A* to B grades.

Star students included Lim Yun Tang who picked up an A* in both maths and further maths, as well as a B in physics. Lawrence Pethick also impressed with his A* maths, A in further maths and then Bs in physics and music.

Zac Morgans, 18, of Bushby Close, Lancing, also surpassed expectations.

He achieved a B in history as well as a D film and distinction in game development.

Zac is heading to the University of Portsmouth and praised his teachers for helping him go from D in history at GCSE to achieving some As in certain modules at A-Level.
