The event is returning to the Amex Stadium in Brighton this year, following the successful international convention held at Twickenham RFG last year.

All age groups will be among the 11,000-plus crowd and the theme of the convention will be Imitate Jesus.

The convention in Brighton, bringing together Witnesses from Sussex, Surrey, south London, the Kent borders and parts of Hampshire, will be one of 20 throughout the UK and hundreds worldwide.

Ian Woodhams, news service representative, said: “All members of the public are welcome to attend any part of the three-day programme, without charge - and no collections are ever taken.

“Following what Jesus did is the basic concept and meaning of true Christianity so the reminders and helpful suggestions that will be presented through the programme will be much appreciated.”

Session times are from 9.20am to 4.55pm daily, from Friday to Sunday.
