All the Lions clubs in the area from Shoreham in the west to Seaford in the east and up to Lewes worked together on the event at Longhill Sports Centre, Rottingdean.

It was provided for teams of adults with learning and physical difficulties and the organisers, from Zone 2A Lions Clubs, were delighted to welcome six groups for a day of fun and games.

“As the event is held on the ground floor of the sports centre, wheelchair users can be accommodated.

“Brighton and Hove’s mayor, councillor Pete West, attended during the afternoon and took part in one of the games as well as presenting the prizes.

“A good time was had by all.”

Adur East Lions are now busy planning for the annual Donkey Derby and Classic Vehicle Rally, a popular event taking place at Buckingham Park, Shoreham, on Sunday, June 4. Make sure you do not miss this fun-packed day for all the family.
