Hundreds attend Sompting and District Model Railway show

HUNDREDS of model railway enthusiasts descended on Sompting Village Hall for a spectacular locomotive exhibition.

The Sompting and District Model Railway Show held over the weekend was visited by enthusiasts of all ages from across the area and featured a stunning show of trains.

Richard Norton said the day was a huge success with 224 people attending the event.

He said: “It went very well indeed. We had about 14 model railways. It was a really, really excellent exhibition and was well attended by the public.”

The club welcomes new members, from juniors to experienced modellers.
