Robert Burns, 21, of Devonport Place, East Worthing, was given a community order and must carry out 150 hours’ unpaid work after being found guilty of assault by beating in Worthing on January 30, 2016. He must pay £250 compensation, £85 victim surcharge and £400 costs.

Louis Gibb, 22, of Greyfriars Close, Worthing, was given a community order and must take part in a sexual offender treatment programme for 36 months after admitting indecent exposure in Goring Street, Goring, on March 1, 2016. He must pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs. He must also pay £185 compensation after admitting stealing clothing from DEE Retail, Worthing, on February 29, 2016, no separate penalty.

Jamie Purkis, 47, of Crabtree Crescent, Worthing, was given a community order with Rehabilitation Activity Requirement after admitting assault by beating in Durrington on August 20, 2016. He must also given a restraining order and must carry out 150 hours’ unpaid work. He must pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Steven Shevlin, 26, of Gordon Road, Worthing, was given a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, after being found guilty of exposure in Chesswood Road, Worthing, on December 3, 2015. He must pay £115 victim surcharge and £300 costs. He also admitted possessing cannabis in Newland Road, Worthing, on December 3, 2015, no separate penalty.

Ricky Green, 30, of Garrick Road, Broadwater, was discharged conditionally for 12 months and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting possessing a 3½in bladed lock knife in Worthing on September 14, 2016.

Ahmed Hamidi, 27, of Ripon Court, Pevensey Garden, West Worthing, was fined £120 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drink-driving (42mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Warwick Street, Worthing, on September 30, 2016. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Casey Hemsley, 18, of Offington Drive, Salvington, was fined £280 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drink-driving (86mg of alcohol in100ml of breath) in Broadwater Road, Worthing, on October 1, 2016. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months.

Joe Sadler, 19, of Arundel Road, Worthing, was fined £90 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drug-driving (61mg of cocaine) on the A24 Washington on August 14, 2016. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was fined £90 after admitting drug-driving (800mg of benzoylecgonine) on the A24 Washington on August 14, 2016. He was fined £50 after admitting possessing 5g of cannabis on the A24 Washington on August 14, 2016.

Layla Ganley, 23, of Wheatcroft, Wick, was discharged conditionally for 12 months and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costts, after admitting criminal damage to a car in Littlehampton on October 1, 2016.

Christopher Hyder, 23, of Scott Lodge, York Road, Littlehampton, was fined £120 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drug-driving (10mcg Delta-9-THC) on the A280 Patching on July 17, 2016. He was disqualified from driving for 36 months.

Matthew Hall, 22, of Heron Court, Victoria Road, Worthing, was fined £120 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting stealing a bank card and a tub of gym supplement worth £15 from a vehicle in Brook Close, Worthing, on August 12, 2016. He also admitted two charges of breaching a conditional discharge order, no action taken.

Liam Blunt, 23, of A’Becket Gardens, Worthing, was given a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, with18-month curfew, electronically monitored, between 9pm and 7am, after admitting assault by beating in Worthing on September 17, 2016. He must pay £250 compensation, £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Reece Farnes, 22, of The Finches, Shoreham, was given a community order and must carry out 60 hours’ unpaid work after admitting stealing £2,000 cash from Ladbrokes, Shoreham, on June 1, 2016. He must pay £1,780 compensation, £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Kelly Hannan, 36, of Test Road, Sompting, was given a community order with eight-week curfew, electronically monitored, between 9pm and 7am, and Rehabilitation Activity Requirement after admitting using threatening words or behaviour that were aggravated due to hostility based on sexual orientation, in Lancing on July 17, 2016. She must pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Joanne Read, 38, of Anson House, Eirene Road, Goring, was fined £100 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £100 costs, after admitting drink-driving (106-117mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Eirene Road, Goring, on July 10, 2016. She was disqualified from driving for 23 months.
