The A2037 has been closed in both directions at Southdown Caravan Park following the incident, which was reported at around 12pm this afternoon (March 30).
Emergency services are on the scene.
Traffic between Upper Beeding and Oreham Common has been affected and the Compass bus service 100 has been diverted.
Sussex Police has been approached for more information.
