Help for Heroes fundraising at ASDA Ferring

ARMY cadets, ex-servicemen and volunteers will be standing to attention at the checkouts on Saturday.

Twenty cadets will be among those on hand to pack bags for shoppers at ASDA’s Ferring superstore as part of a special Help for Heroes weekend.

And there will be plenty of other attractions on for visitors, too, between 10am and 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, as Lisa Clack, community life champion at ASDA Ferring, explained.

She said: “We are having two huge Army vehicles parked up outside the front of the store for children to sit in and have their pictures taken, we will be selling Help for Heroes merchandise and all the proceeds will be donated to the charity.”

Help for Heroes supports veterans and servicemen and women who have been injured as a result as a result of serving their country.
